INDITOR & INDART: Frequently asked questions
INDITOR (BSI IT-Grundschutz) and INDART (emergency management) are desktop applications of the CONTECHNET Suite.
INDITOR does not start
Common causes:
- ODBC driver: Native SQL Server ODBC driver (version 11) is recommended. ODBC Driver 17 can cause issues
- SQL Server service: Check if running (
services.msc) - Database connection: Verify connection parameters in application configuration
Measures cannot be created (INPRIVE)
Solution: Check if the logged-in user is configured as an approval authority. Without approval authorization, no measures can be created.
Risk assessments not visible in INFORWEB
INFORWEB does not display detailed risk assessment data by default. This is a limitation of the current version.
Email sending for measures
Solution: Check SMTP configuration in the application's system settings.
Performance issues
- Check VPN settings (split tunneling may help)
- Run
incheckup.exein the installation directory - Check log files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\CONTECHNET Suite\log
