i-doit Cloud: Frequently asked questions
i-doit Cloud is the hosted version of i-doit. The instance is operated and maintained by i-doit in German, ISO 27001-certified data centers. Provisioning is done under a custom subdomain (e.g. companyname.i-doit.cloud).

Add-ons in the Cloud
Add-ons cannot be installed independently in the Cloud. The available add-ons depend on the purchased package — the add-ons included in the contract are pre-installed on the Cloud instance.
A large portion of i-doit add-ons is compatible with the Cloud. For questions about available add-ons or package extensions, contact the sales team at sales@i-doit.com.
Automation with Flows Lite
Flows Lite is available in the Cloud — a limited version of the Flows add-on that works without a separate license. Flows Lite enables time-based execution of standard console commands.

Flows Lite replaces the manual cronjob configuration that is done via the server console in on-premise installations.
Network and firewall
For connecting external systems (e.g. JDisc, LDAP), the Cloud instance IP addresses must be allowed in the firewall:
