Suite+: Frequently asked questions and known issues

CONTECHNET Suite+ is the web-based SaaS version of the GRC Suite for information security, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and risk management.

Access and authentication

Session expires unexpectedly

Symptom: When working in multiple browser tabs, you are logged out at irregular intervals. After logging in again in one tab, the other tabs work again.

Workaround: Perform all work in a single tab if possible. The issue is known and will be fixed in a future release.

Session remains active after closing the browser

The refresh token has a validity of 7 days. This means a Suite+ session can be resumed after closing the browser. On shared devices, it is recommended to explicitly log out of Suite+.

Asset management

Assets cannot be removed from scope

Status: Known issue, escalated to development. Workaround: reload the page and try again.

Asset overview incomplete or search faulty

Status: Known issue. The filter does not currently work correctly for certain asset types.

BIA (Business Impact Analysis)

"Missing data" when saving the BIA

Workaround: Click into the BIA table (any field), wait briefly, then save again.

BIA column "Properties" cut off in full screen

Workaround: Briefly change the browser window width — the column is then displayed correctly.

Risk management

Risk spheres drag & drop works sporadically

Status: Known issue, escalated to development.

Acceptance level is reset when switching BIA

Workaround: After switching BIA, manually set the acceptance level again before saving.

Usability

TAB key does not work for certain fields

Status: Fixed in upcoming release.

Focus does not jump back after creating an entry

Status: Known usability issue, escalated to development.
